Happy almost Halloween, parents! As we revel in the festivities of October, I want to take a moment to spotlight our incredible Uplevel Dance Company, fondly known as the “girls with the gold poms.” These talented dancers bring joy to our community, performing at events like the Annual Kindercare Street Fair, The Jordy Foundation studio Fundraiser, LPAC Annual Trunk or Treat, and Hamilton’s Oktoberfest.
We’re proud to be the first pom jazz dance team in Hamilton, Bordentown, Robbinsville, and surrounding areas. But remember, it’s not just about dance. Our dancers learn vital life lessons that extend beyond the classroom—lessons that can be found from gravel in the parking lot to glory on the stage. They are mastering how to pivot through challenges, make thoughtful decisions, and embody commitment and excellence.
We love when our younger dancers come up and say, “How can we be one of those big kids one day?” It shows the desire to grow and the inspiration they draw from our Uplevel dancers. These young stars balance their commitments gracefully, participating in cheerleading, sports, and school activities, all while shining brightly in our performances.
Uplevel is an integral part of our family of University Programs, designed to nurture champions who are not just masterful dancers but also exceptional students and leaders.
So, the next time you see our “girls with the gold poms,” remember they are much more than just sparkles and smiles. They represent hard work, dedication, and the invaluable lessons that come from striving for excellence.
Joy For Each Day,
Miss Jennifer
