Parenting is the hardest job we will ever have. It’s filled with moments of joy, pride, and love—but also moments of doubt, frustration, and exhaustion. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed or questioned if you were doing it “right,” you are not alone. At LPAC, we see you, we support you, and we want you to know—this is a space of grace, love, and understanding.
Before my daughter Brooklynne’s recent autism diagnosis, I often found myself wondering if she was listening, if I was parenting her “correctly,” or if I was somehow failing. I didn’t realize then that she was just experiencing the world in a special way—her way. Now, I see so many parents apologizing for their child’s behavior, whether they’re crying, running around, or just having a rough day. But here’s the truth: children are learning, growing, and navigating big emotions, and our job as their guides is to lead with love, patience, and grace.
At LPAC, we choose grace every day—not just in the season of love, but always. If your child needs a lap, they will find comfort. If they cry, others will learn empathy. If they have a tough day, the rest will learn patience. And at some point, every child will go through it, because that’s part of growing up.
We never want a parent to feel embarrassed or “not enough.” We see parents who travel near and far, spanning from places like Chesterfield, West Windsor, and Allentown all the way out into PA…and guess what? Everyone experiences those same feelings. Please know that you are not alone. This is a place where all families are welcomed with open arms. If someone chooses to judge, this isn’t the space for them. But if they choose to uplift, they are part of what we are building—a community where we are people with love, serving people with love.
So the next time your child or teen “acts out,” remember: you are in a home of grace, kindness, and mentorship. No one here needs to know your story to embrace you and your child fully. We are proud to create a space where judgment is left at the door, and love is always at the center.
Joy for each day and peace for your journey,
Miss Jennifer
