Our Community Dance Sessions provide a flexible introduction to the LPAC experience, helping children build confidence, friendships, and a joy for dance while leaving room to explore everything else that makes childhood so special. Not at all! Community Dance Sessions are designed for dancers of all experience levels. Whether it’s your child’s very first dance class or they’re continuing to explore a style they love, our caring teachers will meet them where they are and help them grow with confidence.
Your child’s first Community Session registration within a 12-month period includes an LPAC leotard and tights . As far as shoes, you’re welcome to check our Borrow Bin if we have the correct style and size available. We simply ask you return them when your session is complete to share the love to the next dancer. If we do not or you do not wish to use from our borrow bin Dance shoes can be purchased separately.
Life happens! We offer make-up classes within your current Community Session whenever possible. Simply choose another age-appropriate class during the same session to make up your missed class.
Absolutely! Many families choose to continue from one session to the next. Returning Community families receive priority registration before classes open to new families, helping you keep the same teacher, day, and time whenever possible.
Absolutely! Many of our Community Session families choose to continue into our Academy Program after experiencing the joy of dance at LPAC. The Academy Program offers a full season of growth, performances, studio traditions, friendships, and unforgettable memories while continuing to build confidence, artistry, and life skills.
Community Dance Sessions are designed as a complete, non-performance experience. If your child falls in love with dance and is ready for even more, the Academy Program includes our full performance season along with all the traditions and milestones that make the LPAC experience so special.
