Our preschool program, Dance It Up, is the perfect balance of letting kids be kids and investing in the very foundation to help them Level Up as they grow with us. This program is built on preschool milestones, tools, magic and is jam-packed with fun to make sure students transition smoothly into each level of the program.

This isn’t just a trial class—it’s a gentle, joyful introduction to the world of dance, designed especially for babies and toddlers. We understand that our littlest dancers often need time to warm up, so we’ve created a calm, welcoming environment with sensory-friendly activities, a quiet space to acclimate, and plenty of friendly faces.
Your $25 includes two weeks of classes, a leotard and tights, and a special experience tailored to help your child feel confident and comfortable as they take their very first steps into dance.

Our low commitment, high fun Community Session is perfect for all schedules and beginner levels of interest! With multiple genres, days, and times to choose from, these classes are sure to hit the spot. Once your child experiences the magic they’ll want to continue and continue they will right in the same day, and time that they fell in love with! This is the perfect sampler for them to have new experiences! Spaces are limited so enroll today!

Our waiting room will be full of excitement, with dancers visible through the observation TVs and viewing windows.
If your little one needs a calmer beginning, our sensory room is located to the left and offers a quiet space to settle in before class.
The class experience begins in the waiting room! Please put on your dancer’s shoes so they are ready when their teacher comes to collect the class.
Restrooms are located straight down the hallway. We recommend making a quick bathroom stop before class begins.
Your dancer will also find a basket labeled with their name for their tap shoes (for our FUNdamentals students)—a simple routine that helps build recognition and independence.
A teacher or front desk representative will welcome your family. Then, the teacher and assistant will help the dancers line up and enter the classroom together.
If your dancer feels nervous, you are welcome to walk them back. From there, trust the process. Our teachers will lovingly guide your child—and you—through the next best steps.
Our first goal is not full participation. It is helping your child feel safe, present, and comfortable in the space.
Sometimes that looks like dancing right away. Sometimes it looks like watching for the first few classes. Both are meaningful parts of learning.
Our teachers will help dancers change their shoes during class. If your child needs the restroom, we will invite you to assist them.
Parents will be invited in for pickup. Your teacher will share what the class explored and celebrate your child’s progress—whether they learned a new step, joined one activity, or simply felt a little more at home.
Little dancers can come with big questions! Here are a few simple ways to help your child—and you—feel ready for a magical preschool dance experience.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
Your dancer should arrive in their LPAC leotard, tights, and dance shoes. If they are still waiting for their shoes, socks with grips on the bottom are perfect.
If tights feel uncomfortable, fitted leggings may help. The goal is for dancers to feel comfortable while allowing teachers to see their movement safely. If you would like a different style that is a-ok as long as the color matches the rest of their program!
WHAT IF MY CHILD CRIES?
Tears are completely normal! A new room, new teacher, and new routine can feel like a lot for a little person. You are welcome to walk your dancer back. Then, trust the process while our teachers help them feel safe and gently invite them to join. If your child truly needs you, we will always come get you.
Sometimes you’ll see parents give the teachers the green light to “grab and go!” knowing there will be a few tears but know there will be guidance and support in the room:). Tears are harder for us the parents than the kiddo, so stay in trust that it is all part of the process!
WHAT IF MY CHILD WATCHES INSTEAD OF PARTICIPATING?
Watching is participating at this age. Many preschoolers need to observe the teacher, understand the routine, and feel safe before they are ready to move. A child who watches today may copy one movement next week and confidently join the group soon after.
Our first goal is not full participation—it is helping your child feel safe and fully present.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE ARRIVE LATE?
No worries—we understand that getting little ones out the door does not always go according to plan!
If class has already begun, your dancer will wait with you until the next calm transition. A POW team member will then come out and help them enter.
This protects the focus and emotional regulation of the dancers already inside while giving your child a clear, comfortable entry point—instead of placing them in the middle of an activity where they may feel like they missed something.
WHAT IF MY CHILD MISSES A CLASS?
Life happens! When space allows, your dancer may attend another class of the same age and level.
Because our preschool classes follow the same curriculum and class flow, dancers can enjoy a familiar experience even with another teacher. Please contact our front desk so we can help find the best option.
WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
Please arrive approximately 10 minutes early.
This gives your dancer time to use the restroom, put on their shoes, find their tap-shoe basket, and settle in before the teacher collects the class.
A calm arrival creates a much easier beginning!
WHAT SHOULD WE KNOW ABOUT BATHROOM BREAKS?
We strongly recommend visiting the restroom before class. The restrooms are located straight down the hallway.
If your child needs the restroom during class, we will come get you so you can assist them. Our team will help your dancer rejoin the class when they are ready.
WHAT SHOULD THEY DO WITH THEIR HAIR?
Please pull hair securely away from your dancer’s face. Every little distraction is a BIG pull from their focus and attentionBuns are wonderful, ponytails are perfect, and pigtails are always adorable! Secure hair allows dancers to see, move comfortably, and stay focused without stopping to fix it. A calm arrival creates a much easier beginning!

Of course, all our programs have their dance milestones! More importantly, it’s the life milestones that help them begin their dance training in the most magical way.
