As our family grows, my heart always goes back to one goal—making our big, busy community feel small, warm, and personal. I like to know every family, every face, every dancer, every name and if you have a baby, you better believe I will be holding it while you wait for your older dancer!!!
In just the first three weeks of classes,I am SO PROUD as we had 22 extra hands and hearts on deck—welcoming families at the door, keeping classes calm and joyful, and supporting kids with an extra layer of care. These extra souls were none other than our incredible POW and Ambassador Interns. For the first time ever, they jumped in from day one, and what a difference it made! You could feel the JOY in every hallway greeting, every helping hand,and every calm transition. They helped soothe nerves, wipe tears and so much MORE!
We’ve also been intentional about pulling parents in—mentors introducing names to faces, getting to know parents, and guardians—while making sure you know exactly what to expect from us and what winning looks like for your child. If you are one of our drop off and pick up curbside parents, don’t worry, you’ll be getting our car window knocks as the season goes on!
I know as the season settles in, those first-week crowds and full chairs will shift. You’ll start to notice more space, and more ease. But that doesn’t mean less JOY—it means more trust, more comfort, and the kind of peace that lets your child shine.
We strive to keep our connection strong, we’ve built in so many ways to reach you—because every family communicates differently. Each year we work to Level Up not only the experience and programming but our dedication to communication. Whether it’s our parent portal on the website, text message reminders (grab the app if you haven’t yet!), curated emails specific to your child’s age group, private social media pages, the sign outside our doors for drop-and-go parents, or even a good old-fashioned handout—you’ll always know what’s happening.
As we head into October, month two of dance, I could not be more excited. Serving your family is a privilege. Our promise is simple: JOY. Integrity. Excellence and I’ll hold all the babies and hang with the siblings one class at a time!
